Voice-it |
| Voice-it provides reliable/accurate communication or a "bridge"
between the caregiver and patient when accessing both the hearing and/or cognitively impaired. Effectively used
at each skilled nursing station.
|
||
| Voice-it significantly reduces patient/caregiver stress during
intervention and results in more precise diagnosis and communication. The need for shouting and repetitive instructions
are minimized.
|
||
| Voice-it is routinely prescribed by the clinician
for a short-term patient functional maintenance program to improve verbal communication. Used as a primary component
with a structured patient therapy plan and for continued home training.
|
||
| Voice-it saves considerable caregiver/therapist time as patient will sustain auditory processing abilities resulting in better focus and attention. Case load scheduling will be more efficient and cost effective, resulting in less required therapy time. Recognized as fulfilling HMO guidelines. |
VB & T |
| Voice-it Broadcaster and Trainer (VB&T) offers the clinician and patient
a portable, light-weight, and easy to use amplification system, which enables reliable communication with caregivers
or groups. Voice-it Broadcaster is used for communication with patients with low voice production due to
Parkinson's, ALS, laryngectomy, or voice problems.
|
||
| Voice-it Trainer is used as an auditory facilitator during therapy. The
Voice-it Broadcaster and Trainer produce the same unique clear signal in the speech range of frequencies,
which make sounds more distinct and result in greatly improved patient auditory processing capabilities. The crisp
tonal quality requires only a moderate volume setting and the VB&T can be used comfortably for longer
periods of time.
|
||
| VB&T requires
minimal instruction and can be used by patients with sight or dexterity problems, dramatically improving
functional ability.
